Yet another joyous SWaT newsletter hits the stands. I wasnt going to sit
down and write a newsletter this month because I didnt feel like much was
going on, but now that I see this ultra-lame text file from the 51o Dew-Crew,
I felt impelled to write up the newsletter. It may be the only way to
clarify what has been happening as of late with the group and with the
departures of certain people.
But first, business is business:
SITE UPDATE:
I dont know if anyone is STILL unclear as to what kind of boards we are
looking for in our distribution sites, but we want ONLY HST and above, which
means all you v32shit lamers that are begging for sites can get lost. Unless
you are someone that everyone in the scene knows and you have something
extraordinary to offer the group, you are not going to get a site, unless
someone in Sr Staff takes a deep liking to you.
We added a few sites and we are getting everyone rolling. There were a couple
of sites that I thought were doing great, but when I called there wasnt shit.
It is up to the sysops of these boards to call us and tell us if the couriers
arent doing their jobs, as we cant call every single board and make sure
everyone is up-to-date at all times. Everyone is rolling now, though, so
things are good for the sites as a whole. Among those we added, are The
Arcade BBS, located in chilly Alaska and The Hemispheres, a nice 2-node
system local to me that is run by a great staff of guys. Get the numbers
to these boards from any quality BBS and give them a call!
HQ UPDATES
There was quite a shuffle in the HQs in the last month or so. The WHQ was
moved from Agents of Fortune to Skynet. Skynet serves as the WHQ and
Application center. DO NOT CALL SKYNET FOR WAREZ, as it only carries a
private console area and tons of text files, but NO IBM WAREZ. It is there
for everyone to be able to get in touch with SWaT quickly and to apply for
distribution sites and couriers. It also serves as the world hub to
ZeroNET, the official SWaT netmail message network. If you are interested
in joining the net, whether you are in SWaT or not, feel free to call the
board and get yourself hooked up. As for Agents of Fortune, we understand
that the board went down due to some personal problems and that Butcher
basically got tired of things. It was a great board and served the pirate
community well for a long time. We wish him well.
The Canadian HQ changed from The Hood to F/X. I felt that it was time for
a change there and that The Hood seemed to attract a lot of complications for
us, so we went somewhere else, where I thought we could make a better impact.
We are starting to get rolling on there, so look out for all the releases
being slammed there first by SWaT.
The Eastern and Western HQs were realigned, of sorts. We were told that
The Elusive Dream was in the bag as the Eastern HQ and that Mirage was in
as the Western HQ. The whole Elusive Dreams thing was basically a ton of
shit coming from an ex-sr staff member and Mirage was just big
misunderstanding. Our apologies to both of those boards sysops. However,
we turned to current sites as the new Eastern and Western HQs. The Manhattan
Project, a board on the comeback, serves as the new Western HQ. Rifleman is
going to go 4 nodes on his system and well be there to help him out with
everything we can. The Eastern HQ went to Psychotic Wave, another board
about to make the 4-node jump. This great little board will be the center
of attention in the upcoming months as more and more quality users get on
there and make the board happen, so look out for Psychotic Wave in the
near future.
The courier HQs remained the same shouldnt fix something that isnt broken,
eh?. Alpha 2010 is one of the premiere BBSes in the world and we are
fortunate to have a great board such as it to serve as one of our courier
HQs. Silus Guardian puts a lot of time and effort into the system and it
shows, as it is attempting to edge out The Elusive Dream probably its only
competition in the speed and service depts. It is also adding more nodes !
to its system, so bigger is indeed better. Dark Palace changed its name to
Momentary Lapse of Reason and is still rocking with the incredible 10-node
setup. Escape Key is looking to rework things with the board a little and
changes will be coming to make the board not only look better g but it
will also remain as one of the top systems in the world, especially with
SWaT there.
MEMBER UPDATES!
Well, this is probably the most interesting part of the newsletter this month.
It seems that a certain Sr staff member named Liquid Khaos took it upon
himself to make boards SWaT sites. According to a couple of sources, he was
charging sites 150 a month or saying that thats how much it was to be a
site and then charged people hardware on top of that. One unfortunate
individual gave a SB-16 to Liquid Khaos and his friend Phoenix Claw. When
we learned of it, we tried to contact Liquid Khaos and Phoenix Claw, but
both were unreachable Liquid Khaos phone line was disconnected. This,
along with the fact that we couldnt reach Liquid Khaos, the fact that he had
misled us about HQ boards like Elusive Dreams and people being in the group
as couriers like HOPPERMANiA, who is now helping us anyway, and SLAiN,
-KNoX-, Macro Nit, and a couple of others, I felt it was necessary to
remove Liquid Khaos from the group, at least until the rest of the Sr staff
gets to talk to him and let him explain his side of the story. But for now,
Liquid Khaos is out. Then I get a little text file from the 51o lamers, which
is reproduced below:

Im sure you all heard about the three senior members who decided to
leave the best courier group around. If you havent...then fuck you...
go call Digital Underground. You deserve bein on Zandorphs BBS.
Whats going on? Well, this geek motherfucker donated a piece of shit
he called a graphics card which didnt work for a courier site as a
private deal to Liquid Chaos so that Pheonix Claw, his bud, and neighbor
would courier to his lame assed PD wanna be elite bbs. When the card
didnt work, Pheonix Claw refused to courier or even call the pathetic
piece of data slop he called a bbs. Some how this loser thought that
the deal was for a S.W.A.T. courier site, which was bullshit. However
he called the 3 senior members and told them a bunch of bullshit. One of
these lies was that he was promised a site for S.W.A.T. for the board.
Because of this, the 3 members thought that Liquid Chaos was taking in
profit for himself and decided that they would leave the group cuz they
didnt want him to got behind thier backs and get some gain for S.W.A.T.
sites for himself. So they left...just because they decided to listen
to this nobody. Were here to set the record straight....
Liquid Chaos did everything he could for S.W.A.T. and all the members in
the group. if someone even thinks that he would only act for himself,
that proves that the person doesnt even know him. We think its
seriously sad that someone would actually believe this loser Zandorph
over Liquid Chaos.
Its a bad sign that a lame assed new PD converted to elite a week ago
could actually break up such a strong and committed group, the best
courier group, as S.W.A.T. in such a short time. If every senior member
of decent groups began listening to the wining crap of lamers like
Zandorph, all of the groups would be dead within a week.
What happenned to S.W.A.T. should be a warning to all the good groups
that have, and will continue to, keep the scene alive. Stick tight and
dont listen to bullshit from outsider nobodys. Keep the scene pure.
As for S.W.A.T... We wont quit. This is just a temporary and SLIGHT
set back. ALL Sites will still be serviced better than before! Itll
take a shitload of a lot more than some prepubicent faggot like Zandorph
to kill one of the best courier groups in the world.

How nice of them to indent it for me..:.. First off, lemme dispel any rumors
about people leaving SWaT. The only people that left were Liquid Khaos, and
not by his own choice. Disk Killer and I had talked about taking a break,
and perhaps retiring the group for awhile, but thinking about it, that is a
lot easier said than done. Der Schatten quit the group like 2 weeks ago
because he is going back to school. And thats about it. What this lame
text files that these fools wrote is that local business should never mix with
anything outside of the area code. None of the lamers that are mentioned in
that text file circulating around are in SWaT and they have no way nor
permission to do anything with any of the sites and least of all have they
earned the right to express an opinion about SWaT and keeping it alive,
because they have had absolutely nothing to do with the group as far as I
know or as far as I am concerned. I could give a flying fuck about them,
their Jagermeister, and their little faggot area code. SWaT does not belong
to 510, 510 belongs to SWaT. At any rate, these guys havent even bothered
to contact me, so fuck em. They can do a courier group, just not SWaT.
SWaT is alive and well and staying on top as always, and we dont need a
bunch of sniveling losers to help us like that.
NOW... there is some truth to the fact that SWaT was going to go away. I
seriously considered retiring from the group for awhile and letting someone
else do it until I got ready to come back, but I think what we will be doing
instead is delegating a lot of responsibilities and putting my trust in the
rest of the staff to keep at it like I have been. I have to go back to
school and I basically wont have time to do much with SWaT or anyone until
December, when Winter Break rolls around. We will see how things go. BUT..
at any rate, there is going to be a SWaT and it is still going to be
delivering the fastest warez around for a very very long time, apparently.
And, in case anyone is confused, the definitive and latest SWaT.NFO is going
to be attached to the end of this little article, so be sure to take a look
at it and make sure you know who is in and who is out or left out of the
infofile and stay updated!
COURIERS
If you have any aspiration to be a courier for us, you must have at least an
HST, preferabbly a Dual. Anything else wont cut it.

Sites are still only 50 a month and we guarantee the fastest warez for your

Thats about all I have to say this month. The school crunch coming up cost
us our top couriers, Spaceman Spiff and The Cardinal, but I am assured that
they will return in the summertime. I may go, I may not. I will wait for
school to start on the 20th of this month to see, and everyone will know in

I dont have any games reviewed, but I promise I will play something next
