Is this a useless piece of writing? For those who just want to look at
the pics. I suggest you leave now, no pics. in here. But hey, I dont blame
you for wanting to look at the slammn works from all of us at mAx.
This here is some babble from a struggln mAx artist, Cool C Why
struggln? My ANSi skills have left me it seems. : My works you see here
in this release may seem ok but I see them as blah I need some work, I
know, and if you dont see me in tha next release, this becuz I am fine
tunning my ANSi, so to speak. Hopefully if I can get my act together I can
do some real clever VGA screens...
Something you aught to know!
In my quest to spread mAx around via postn in different nets I find
myself gettn tied down with alot of email for the basic subject of
how do I join max? Well instead of answering 20+ messages over at WWIV
net or whatever in the h*ll I use, here are some tips on gettn to be a mAx
member:
1. 2-ways of joining as I see it A. The do it your damn
self method which is fill out the apps. and send them
to the WHQ, SoD BBS and hope for the best. It wouldnt
hurt to include some of your work too! or B. Have someone
vouch for you! Personally, I only vouch for those I can
belive in myself, after all I want to see mAx benefit
from the acquistion not just have some member sit around
with the mAx at the end of his name.
2. Keep in contact with the senior boards, mainly SoD and
Vladimirian SP? Heights! Trust me...
3. If you REALLY want to be a active member of mAx, apply
for a position that they can use! COURIER, CODER, etc.
Gee, this is getn kinda long. Almost sound like a senior member when
I am writtn this! Not much art discussion in this one, next time! promise!
