First off, I guess would have been the group I started with Kweiheri Tron
from the 403 area code. This group consisted of various local artists, and
myself -- Heres the important part of this all. I ripped Hiro Protagonist
in one of the packs we released. At the time, I simply thought that he was
some guy that no one cared about. So off I went.. haha. As soon as the
pack was released, I was CAUGHT. So yeah, Oasis loses -all- credibility
and I am back at the bottom of the artist heap. However far Oasis didnt
get me, it did give me the opportunity to meet Devin for the first time at
which point I fully apologized. He said Cool, no worries, everyone has to
start somewhere or something like that. Dope. Hiro ran Quad-P, and he let
me join. Needless to say, I was in the group forever.. but I never once
released an ascii. So, Devin. heres to you.. for actually being my gate-
way drug to the ascii scene. Symbolism? You know it!

So Id imagine this is getting confusing.. because it is for me. I cant even

so extremely unclear to me because I, like Hiro P, was quite the chronic smoker

The funny thing about me and CiA was that I never actually
knew what CiA meant and I still dont. But, nevertheless
it was still one of the most prominent group experiences
I ever had. I met some very good friends in this group,
one of them was perhaps my closest scene friend, S. Amiss
aka Discyple. Me and Scott became very good friends over
the years of drawing along side one another in groups
like CiA, Noname and Kwest. I dont really know what to
say about Scott. We talked on the phone alot, we rapped
alot, we thought up a ton of great ideas, and most of them
happened: noname pimpedia, rapping pumpkins at halloween,
you know stupid ascii shit. We had fun, at least I did.
Scott was ahead of his time as an artists and could single
handedly no joke intended, with ONE hand draw circles
around everyone in the scene today, and days past. Dont
believe me? Fuck you So, to a friend, and a new school

I cant forget bASIC!a. Word up to Kaleidas, the BlindMan, Epidemic
HOlocaust, Slick Williard, Kresile Iesone, MJAY, tMM, rUckus, Poly,
and the whole crew. bASIC was one of the purest ascii groups to
ever release in the ascii scene, every pack was SO full of talent
and was a HUGE pleasure to view. Basic started out going head to
head with tRANK and that competition was hot, man, and I was proud
to be a part of it. Another group that I was in for approximately

The great thing about s0ap, altogether, was the family aspect that
they had going on. It was crazy, they were all really tight, and
really challenged new artists who were trying to get into the
group. It took me forever to get into s0ap I had spent time in
bASIC and Wicked and other groups, and by the time I finally got
in, I only last 2 packs and then fucked off to start Noname Brand
Ascii. s0ap motivated me to get better, and try harder with ascii,
and the guys in the group were my ascii idols. Jestor, Prism,
Mr. Self-Destruct, Sarkazm, Bamboozler and the rest of the crew.
It was fun, I wish it had maybe lasted a little longer, or that I
got in a little earlier, I dont know. Either way, I guess.

would probably not be as strong if you can call it that as it is right
now. The Mimic crew have released -faithfully- for three years, and I

Ahh. Noname was my lovechild. It was an awesome group to run, be a part
of, and still is one of the key parts of my scene career. I cant say

True Ascii. True was fun, but I think it wouldve been a better
fit to the ascii scene about 2 years before it emerged. Back
when the scene was all about trying to be the most on-top
group, and have the biggest mouth, and you know, whoever could
spit the most game. The negative about running a group like
this, is that its very high maintenance. Lots of beaking off
has to take place, and then you have to put energy into making
ascii, and its like you HAVE to fight with someone every day.
It gets to be too much, so thats why true died. Rest in peace.

First off, I guess would have been the group I started with Kweiheri Tron
from the 403 area code. This group consisted of various local artists, and
myself -- Heres the important part of this all. I ripped Hiro Protagonist
in one of the packs we released. At the time, I simply thought that he was
some guy that no one cared about. So off I went.. haha. As soon as the
pack was released, I was CAUGHT. So yeah, Oasis loses -all- credibility
and I am back at the bottom of the artist heap. However far Oasis didnt
get me, it did give me the opportunity to meet Devin for the first time at
which point I fully apologized. He said Cool, no worries, everyone has to
start somewhere or something like that. Dope. Hiro ran Quad-P, and he let
me join. Needless to say, I was in the group forever.. but I never once
released an ascii. So, Devin. heres to you.. for actually being my gate-
way drug to the ascii scene. Symbolism? You know it!

So Id imagine this is getting confusing.. because it is for me. I cant even

The funny thing about me and CiA was that I never actually
knew what CiA meant and I still dont. But, nevertheless
it was still one of the most prominent group experiences
I ever had. I met some very good friends in this group,
one of them was perhaps my closest scene friend, S. Amiss
aka Discyple. Me and Scott became very good friends over
the years of drawing along side one another in groups
like CiA, Noname and Kwest. I dont really know what to
say about Scott. We talked on the phone alot, we rapped
alot, we thought up a ton of great ideas, and most of them
happened: noname pimpedia, rapping pumpkins at halloween,
you know stupid ascii shit. We had fun, at least I did.
Scott was ahead of his time as an artists and could single
handedly no joke intended, with ONE hand draw circles
around everyone in the scene today, and days past. Dont
believe me? Fuck you So, to a friend, and a new school

I cant forget bASIC!a. Word up to Kaleidas, the BlindMan, Epidemic
HOlocaust, Slick Williard, Kresile Iesone, MJAY, tMM, rUckus, Poly,
and the whole crew. bASIC was one of the purest ascii groups to
ever release in the ascii scene, every pack was SO full of talent
and was a HUGE pleasure to view. Basic started out going head to
head with tRANK and that competition was hot, man, and I was proud
to be a part of it. Another group that I was in for approximately

The great thing about s0ap, altogether, was the family aspect that
they had going on. It was crazy, they were all really tight, and
really challenged new artists who were trying to get into the
group. It took me forever to get into s0ap I had spent time in
bASIC and Wicked and other groups, and by the time I finally got
in, I only last 2 packs and then fucked off to start Noname Brand
Ascii. s0ap motivated me to get better, and try harder with ascii,
and the guys in the group were my ascii idols. Jestor, Prism,
Mr. Self-Destruct, Sarkazm, Bamboozler and the rest of the crew.
It was fun, I wish it had maybe lasted a little longer, or that I
got in a little earlier, I dont know. Either way, I guess.

would probably not be as strong if you can call it that as it is right
now. The Mimic crew have released -faithfully- for three years, and I

of, and still is one of the key parts of my scene career. I cant say

Odelay was how I discovered Prodigy.
Prodigy was in Noname, and Kwest, and I think that
he, is fucking awesome. Odelay was an outstanding group,
full of talent, and yet another group that never should

Remorse has always been great. Especially back in the day, when it was like
a true family of the BEST ascii artists in the scene. I still like to view
Remorse releases, I just cant stand Whodini. Im only kidding. I think.

gAME.
True Ascii. True was fun, but I think it wouldve been a better
fit to the ascii scene about 2 years before it emerged. Back
when the scene was all about trying to be the most on-top
group, and have the biggest mouth, and you know, whoever could
spit the most game. The negative about running a group like
this, is that its very high maintenance. Lots of beaking off
has to take place, and then you have to put energy into making
ascii, and its like you HAVE to fight with someone every day.
It gets to be too much, so thats why true died. Rest in peace.
